What is a user Group?
Most see a user group as a community of people that gather to discuss what is hot and exciting about the world of computers and related technology. They are the people that their friends and associates contact to recommend the best "Whiz Bang" and "What's It" for their computer.

All This is true.

But what most don't realize is that they are also great contributors of their communities. They collect old computers and equipment, use volunteers to clean and upgrade them, then they donate the "new" system to local schools and other organizations.

They also provide classes to their membership and others in the community, to help them get the most from their equipment. The classes range from beginner to expert in the areas of using their operating system, to popular software applications.

If your not a member of a user group, you should be!

If your company isn't working with user groups, they should be!
